St. Joseph Medical center catered food from ShopRite catering department and Chef ED hospitality was outstanding. We had over $2,000 worth of food catered and everything came out perfect! Everything was organized, prepped, and ready to go at the appropriate time. The team effort to ensure the food was not only delicious but the presentation was perfect. Thank you Chef Ed and his team again for doing such an amazing job for our clients holiday party. We will be ordering again without a doubt.

I want to applaud Eddie Padilla and his team for doing such an excellent job for preparing our Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 16, 2023 for St. Josephs Thanksgiving celebration. Mr. Padilla raised the bar in customer service by not only preparing our Thanksgiving meal but assisting us to the check out. His patience and compassion raised the bar in customer service at Shoprite Hyland Blvd. S.I., NY. Not only was the food fantastic, clients are still talking about their food and how delicious it was. Modern, spacious environment, great staff presenting a great variety of choices and good prices. Made in site sushi is great, especially the tuna. Today's 4oz lobster tail sale was great one 12/14/2022. Wow today's large artichoke were a great find. Frozen tuna steak was available in individual portion sizes.

This is one of the best supermarket on Hylan Blvd because the staff treat me very well. They have really good prices for vitamins on sale sometimes. The quantity is very good and more affordable. I been here to the new shoprite for 2 plus years and they got more space including the produce section. They got lots of primary and secondary options and that’s excellent.

ShopRite is THE place to buy your groceries. Before moving to Staten Island, i shopped at Stop N Shop, met food, key food, C-Town, and the list goes on.... A few people told me ShopRite was "run-down" "ghetto" "dirty"...well guess what, if saving money and getting quality products means I have to sacrifice on customer service a little, then so be it! Atmosphere: The store's layout is easy enough to follow, sometimes it gets congested in the produce section and with so many people shopping it can get pretty hectic. I never go on weekends unless it's at night, and I usually try to go late after work on a weekday to avoid the rush. Products: A lot of their produce isn't the best quality and can be expensive. Canned/packaged foods can be found for dirt cheap. Seafood and meats are average. One thing I don't buy from here is chicken, it seems to go bad by the next day every time I get it, but other people have told me they don't have that problem. Service: ok so I don't think any employees here really love their job, but what do you expect? Most of them are high school/college-age and probably have more exciting things to do like spend time on social media and play with their phones. They're not really excited to help, but will answer questions if you ask them. Some of the cashiers are rude, but most supermarket cashiers aren't well-known for their customer service skills. Prices: This is the best part!! Not only does Shop Rite run sales all the time, but you can download digital coupons from the app to your loyalty card. On top of that, they accept, and even double, coupons from product manufacturers. What more could a frugal person ask for? Verdict: I don't shop anywhere else, except for produce and chicken! I usually save 1/2 off my bill with the ShopRite app and coupons.
